Jay Dassele, Asset Manager
Jay began his career with Mark-Taylor in 2000 in a premiere Mark-Taylor community. After quickly proving his leasing and management capabilities, Jay was handed the keys to manage a multi-million dollar asset. Still, Jay asked for more, and earned the responsibility to oversee management of multiple sites in the Keirland area.
After serving five solid years as a multi-site manager, Jay was most recently tapped to take on the role of asset management. Now with 6 communities in his portfolio, Jay is poised and ready to deliver direct results for his owners and co-workers alike.
Jay's key achievements include handling the complicated task of assisting one of the most publicized sales in the history of apartment management in Arizona; working closely with brokers and owners to ensure the successful transaction of an 18 community/4471 unit package sale in 2005.
Jay has also directed three successful lease-ups during his tenure, reaching occupancy goals quickly while maximizing rents and revenue. Perhaps Jay's greatest accomplishment has been his ability to create career paths for his people, developing and educating them to reach their highest potential.
Jay is proud recipient of a Arizona Multi-housing Association's Team Achievement Award, Best Community Award and has served as a two-time nominee for Manager of the Year.
Jay is CAM certified through the Arizona Multi-housing Association and is licensed in real estate in the state of Arizona.
