DALE PHILLIPS, President and Designated Broker of Mark-Taylor Residential
Under Dale Phillips' leadership, Mark-Taylor Residential has become the leading provider of management services to luxury apartment properties in the Phoenix metropolitan area. In terms of numbers, that adds up to a portfolio of more than 10,000 units for institutional owners and private investors. Phillips has driven much of that growth, drawing on his experience in resort management, advertising, and construction to expand Mark-Taylor’s development activity and third-party management accounts.
Phillips, who joined Mark-Taylor in 1995 as an asset manager, is credited with introducing a highly successful team approach to Mark-Taylor, which brings together finance, marketing, and operations to deliver superior returns to owners. He also has supported the creation of a company culture that encourages employees to think entrepreneurially and devise innovative programs that boost resident satisfaction, operating efficiencies, and overall profitability. Phillips belongs to the Arizona Multihousing Association Board, the National Multi Housing Council’s advisory board, and the National Apartment Association.

John White, Chief Financial Officer
John White joined Mark-Taylor in 2011 and brings nearly 25 years of accounting experience and leadership in the commercial real estate industry. John's key responsibility is to develop and execute financial goals to maximize the value of all Mark-Taylor assets. Most recently, John led accounting functions for RED Development, overseeing financial initiatives including management and review of financial statement and reports, budgets, and the general ledger. Prior to that, he served as controller of leading property management and real estate development firms Cavan Real Estate Investments and Denali National Trust. John's vision for Mark-Taylor is to streamline accounting processes to enable optimal performance for all assets under the Mark-Taylor umbrella.

JOHN CARLSON, Vice President
John joined Mark-Taylor Residential in 2002 and is responsible for new business development, financial and operational performance of over 10,000 units. John has a habit of over-delivering on behalf of his clients, resulting in new projects and expanded relationships. Not only can he juggle multiple responsibilities, but he’ll do it with a smile and always makes time to help others. He's a confident leader and earns the respect and admiration of those around him.
John's diverse background includes on-site property management, financial and operational management and as a manager with V-Tek, Inc., he designed electronic component solutions and conducted training/set-up programs throughout North America, Europe, Asia, Central America and Africa. His computer know-how also comes in handy for those needing help manipulating spreadsheets.
John received his Associates Degree in Electronics from South Central Technical College in 1998 and his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering in 2001 from Concordia College. He is a Licensed Real Estate Agent in Arizona and a member of the Arizona Multi-housing Association.

LINDA COBURN, Asset Manager
Linda Coburn, who joined Mark-Taylor in 2009, brings more than 20 years of industry expertise to her responsibilities as asset manager. Experienced in both controlling costs and building revenue, she also counts new lease-ups and distressed assets among her strengths, as well as customer service, retention, and sales and marketing.
Coburn comes to Mark-Taylor from Equity Residential, where she served as a field trainer to regional managers, oversaw a national call and leasing center, and most recently, worked as a regional manager, handling a 2,700-unit portfolio.
A graduate of Phoenix’s own Trevor Browne High School, Coburn has her associate’s degree from Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., and attended California State University in San Bernardino, where she majored in business.

JAY DASSLE, Asset Manager
Jay Dassele began his Mark-Taylor career in 2000, quickly building upon his early success with promotion after promotion. Among his key achievements: handling the complicated task of assisting one of the most publicized sales in the history of apartment management in Arizona; Working closely with brokers and owners to ensure the success of an 18-community portfolio sale that was also one of the most publicized sales in Arizona’s apartment management industry. Now an asset manager, Dassele has the experience and expertise to deliver results for Mark-Taylor clients. His industry recognitions include an Arizona Multihousing Association team achievement award, best community award, and two nominations for Manager of the Year. Dassele is Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) through the Arizona Multihousing Association and a licensed real estate agent in Arizona.

CHRISTI GALLIMORE, Asset Manager
With nearly 15 years of multifamily experience, Christi Gallimore is an expert in property management. She began her career with Archstone Communities in Texas, joined For Rent magazine in Phoenix, and arrived at Mark-Taylor in 2005. Since then, Gallimore has worked on numerous Mark-Taylor communities and sub-markets in the Phoenix area, tackling challenges large and small in her quest to boost occupancy and more at Mark-Taylor properties. Her favorite victory? The successful repositioning of a failed condo conversion into a healthy rental apartment community with dramatically improved occupancy and renewal rates.
Gallimore, who was promoted to asset manager in 2010, is also very active with the Arizona Multihousing Association (AMA), where she has served on committees for Project Safe, UMOM, and other outreach efforts. She has been nominated by Mark-Taylor for the AMA’s “Manager of the Year” award for three consecutive years and was a finalist in 2009. Finally, Gallimore has been a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) since 2007 and has helped mentor other CAM students through the AMA.
She is a Licensed Real Estate Agent in Arizona.

MICHAEL WILSON, Asset Manager
Michael Wilson has been an integral part of the Mark-Taylor team since 2001 bringing success to his teams, owners, and company overall. He has managed challenging property sales and difficult lease-ups alike for new and existing apartment properties. He has worked with onsite associates and investors to establish expectations and achieve outstanding results. Wilson's industry credentials include certifications as a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and a National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP), as well as his Arizona real estate license. He also received Mark-Taylor’s Residential Team Achievement Award in 2004. Wilson received his bachelor’s from the University of Arkansas, where he double-majored in sociology and criminology, with a minor in business. Wilson also served with the Arkansas Air National Guard for more than six years.

ROGER NAHRGANG, Director of Service Support
Roger is responsible for the property maintenance standards for all of Mark-Taylor's communities. He trains, mentors, guides and instructs his service teams to ensure the highest level of maintenance quality is achieved at all times.
Prior to joining Mark-Taylor more than ten years ago, Nahrgang owned a successful maintenance company servicing commercial and residential customers. He also enjoyed a 22-year Army career where he specialized in artillery training programs.
Nahrgang has been honored as Mark-Taylor Service Manager of the Year, received the Mark-Taylor award, the Arizona Multi-housing Service Manager of the Year award and the Arizona Multi-housing Team of the Year award. He attended Winona State College in Minnesota.

JENNIE RAYE BENSON, Executive Assistant
If you’ve called Mark-Taylor’s corporate headquarters, you’ve probably spoken with Jennie Raye Benson. Benson came to Mark-Taylor in 2006 as a receptionist, drawing on her retail management and customer service experience to welcome and help callers and visitors alike. Since 2008, she has served as executive assistant to Mark-Taylor’s leadership team, where she has assisted various departments, including sales, training, marketing, and public relations, with ongoing projects and new initiatives. Jennie Raye oversees financial and weekly reports, and serves as the voice of the corporate headquarters with regard to program rollouts and events. She facilitates the corporate apparel program to ensure everyone on staff is professionally outfitted.
Benson attended Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah.

KIM ATKINSON, Director of Marketing & PR
Kim Atkinson joined Mark-Taylor in 2006 to head up marketing and public relations, bringing more than 20 years of marketing communications experience to the team. Kim’s chief responsibility is to increase awareness of the Mark-Taylor brand by generating buzz, traffic and leads for each community. Mark-Taylor has been recognized by the NAHB, earning awards for its Summer of Love campaign. The advertising industry has also honored Mark-Taylor for various campaigns with local and regional Addy awards, and AMA Spectrum Awards.
Kim majored in Political Science at Arizona State University, finishing her studies in 1993.
